In the Bible Book of Matthew Chapter 25, there is a story of three servants being blessed with talents (Lord’s Money). One servant received five talents, one servant received two talents, and one servant received one talent. The two servants who received five and two talents went out a doubled their talents. But the servant who received the one talent, buried and hid his talent.
When the day came for the servants to report to the Lord about their progress, those that multiplied their talents were reward with more because they proved to be faithful, hardworking and accountable for what they were granted. However, the servant who buried his talent and made nothing, was chastised and his talent was taken from him and given to the servant who multiplied his five talents.
What will you do with your talents? Will you pay them forward so that they multiple or will you bury them within yourself and hide them from the world and eventually lose your talents?

The information that I have obtained throughout my financial career, revealed that most of us are not equipped with the financial education we need to hit the ground running in the direction we desire. Our education system prepares us with Mathematics, English, Social Studies, etc. But one of the key tools, personal finances, which is needed for our survival, is left for us to learn on our own.
